An inspirational woman has just bagged a prestigious master's degree in shipping law from the University of Cape Town.
Akhona Baninzi shared the exciting news on social media earlier today, Briefly.co.za gathered.
She posted photos of herself at the event along with the caption, "Happy graduation to me."
Akhona is already working as an advocate specialising in maritime law and ocean governance, according to her Twitter bio.
She also holds a BA in International Relations and Economic Studies as well as an LLB, both from Wits University.
Her achievement inspired scores of South Africans on social media. Many of them congratulated her and conveyed their best wishes.
