Former president, Jacob Zuma, has set the social media streets on fire after he posted a video in which he said he wants to engage citizens.
In a video posted to Twitter, Zuma said:
"I decided it was time to move with the times to join this important area of conversation. I hear many people are talking about me. I felt it was necessary that I should join in."
His tweet was met with much enthusiasm and was retweeted 298 times at the time of publishing, with hundreds of comments.
Julius Malema was the first to welcome him to the Twitter streets:

@SMakgobathe wrote: "Welcome to the App Msholozi. We're going to engage you robustly so. Here there's no point of order or any protection from the speaker. Wish you all the best baba."
