Kwesta gave international superstar Rick Ross a taste of eKasi life

We're so proud of Kwesta. Instead of taking international icon Rick Ross to Sandton or some flashy Mzansi hotel, he gave him a taste of real South Africa. He shared snaps of him introducing the rapper to his gogo, and it gave us such joy.

Local rap star Kwesta did an awesome performance with Rick Ross and Rich Homie Quan on Friday the 14th of December that gave South Africa a taste of their new singles.

Johannesburg played host to the music stars, and it was a fantastic treat. Kwesta and Rick Ross gave those lucky enough to attend an exclusive debut of their collab, Kuhambani.

EWN reports the event was a kick-off for #Heineken's campaign that wants to give SA a taste of the lifestyles and cultures from the 192 countries where the drink is also enjoyed. The theme in Johannesburg was New York, while Durban enjoyed a Japanese theme.

Kwesta made SA proud when he shared a picture of Rick Ross meeting his grandmother in Katlehong on Twitter. Instead of taking the rapper to a luxurious hotel or fancy lodge, he gave him a taste of eKasi life.
