It looks like graduation season is in full swing as happy South Africans take to social media to celebrate and congratulate the degrees and diplomas earned after a lot of hard work and sacrifices.

A very happy young woman took to social media to share her good news: she obtained her degree, got accepted for honours and managed to bag a scholarship.

Twitter user @queen_mpumi expressed her gratitude by adding that she really has her mother's prayers to thank for her achievements.

But getting your degree depends on the hard work you're willing to put in, and if you don't, prayers won't achieve anything - it is believed that God helps those who help themselves.
