According to the final report by retired judge, Robert Nugent, Vittorio Massone lied under oath when he said he never discussed SARS with former president Jacob Zuma. It has come to light that Zuma actually told Massone that Moyane would be appointed as SARS' commissioner.
The final report Robert Nugent, retired judge, gave evidence that links Jacob Zuma to the demise of South Africa's Revenue Service.
The report was handed in to President Ramaphosa on Friday the 14th of December. Apparently, Vittorio Massone, former partner in Bain & Company, lied under oath when he stated that he never discussed SARS with the former president.
According to a report by The Sowetan, Zuma told Massone that Tom Moyane would be appointed as SARS commissioner at least 5 months before the decision was announced publicly.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Moyane and Bain & Company are held responsible for the R100 billion gaping hole in revenue collection, crippling SARS severely.
Massone insisted he never discussed Moyane or SARS with Zuma, which has now been exposed as a lie.
South Africans are not impressed with what has been revealed about Moyane:
