The pride that South Africans felt as Miss South Africa, Tamaryn Green, was crowned as the runner-up at the Miss Universe Pageant was almost overwhelming. It was a wonderful moment to see our country's flag raised high by the young beauty.

24-year old Tamaryn Green gave South Africans the strongest feelings of "Proudly South African" when she walked with grace and confidence on the Miss Universe Stage.

Her wonderful personality and stunning smile won us over from the start, back when she won Miss South Africa.

The gorgeous young lady from Paarl couldn't stop smiling as she was crowned the runner-up, and South Africans were smiling right along with her. Beautiful Miss Philippines, Catriona Gray, took the crown, but SA feels that Tamaryn did amazing.

As reported on by News24, Tamaryn's silver dress was a knockout. She looked stunning and even seemed to glow with natural beauty.

To add to South Africa's glory, the former Miss Universe, SA's Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters, looked beautiful when she crowned Catriona.
