Drama and chaos as #Papgeld crew gate-crash a private wedding

The controversial TV series, No Excuse Pay Papgeld, has caused many upsets and drama since it first aired on DStv. The latest drama saw events turn violent as the crew and presenter were allegedly attacked by guests at a wedding they tried to gate-crash.

The producers, presenter and camera crew of reality TV series, No Excuse Pay Papgeld, claim they were attacked by the family and wedding guests of a man they confronted for allegedly not paying his children's papgeld.

The man allegedly has 3 children that he isn't providing for and the crew previously tried to get hold of him, to no avail.

According to a report by SowetanLIVE the chaotic incident happened at a wedding in Germiston.

The show's crew was at the location to talk to the groom, but they were chased off by the man, his bride, and family members.

Noxolo Mthethwa, the show's producer, claims that members of the crew were thrown with stones as the angry mob went after them in a car chase.

Makwati was assaulted by the groom and his bride after he approached the groom in front of all people. The man was not happy about the questions asked. They even confiscated one camera which fell when the crew ran.

Some crew members tripped and sustained injuries in their haste to flee from the angry wedding guests.

Mthethwa added that the cameraman was hit with a stone and had to be rushed to hospital.

He sustained serious injuries to his forehead and he also hurt his ankles.

However, Briefly.co.za gathered that no criminal case was opened.

We called the police but they did not show up. So no case was opened with them.
