Metro police bust yet another overloaded taxi with 30 passengers

A viral video captures the moment traffic police officers caught a 14-seater minibus taxi overloaded with 30 passengers.

Twitter user @un6othered posted the clip on his profile yesterday, Briefly.co.za gathered. He captioned it, "Quantum vele vele has got secret compartments inside..."

The incident apparently happened in Chatsworth, Durban, although it's unclear when. An officer is seen counting the passengers one by one as they disembarked from the taxi.

Some of the passengers included children. It's amazing how they all got to fit in the vehicle. To make matters worse, some had fairly heavy luggage.

As Briefly.co.za reported recently, a similar viral video showed police in Chatsworth busting a taxi driver transporting 25 passengers.

The latest video has left social media users outraged. Some criticised the taxi driver's greed, but others also called out the passengers for boarding an overloaded taxi.
