Foreign nationals accuse Alexandra Police of helping locals evict them from RDPs

Foreign nationals who reside in Alexandra have accused police of wrongfully siding with locals after being assaulted and forcibly evicted from their RDP houses

The foreigners have brought forward accusations revealing claims that they have been under siege for a week and the police have done little to assist them.

According to the foreigners they had been sold RDP houses and are now forcibly being removed without being reimbursed.

The situation has seen the murder of a Zimbabwean as well as several people sustaining injuries during the attacks.

Police have denied the allegations, stating that they have opened three cases related to the incident.

One man disagrees with this, saying that the police have sided with locals when they go to report the crimes. He said that the locals are targeting Zimbabwean and Mozambican people.
