2018 was Boity Thulo's year. The beautiful rapper wowed her fans with her music skills and even got herself nominated for a hip-hop award. Add to that the launch of a fragrance, and it's clear just how dominant Boity was this year.
A few months ago, Boity told Drum Magazine during an interview that 2018 has been a year of blessings for her, and we can see why.
Boity released Wuz Dat, her first single, and also the track that launched her rap career. It was received with great acclaim, and it's almost certain she'll be releasing more hits in the future.
The beautiful rapper got herself a cover on Cosmopolitan and launched her very own perfume in collaboration with Impulse.
About a month ago, Boity bagged her first ever nomination for a music award at the SA Hip Hop Awards. The TV-personality-turned-rapper was in the running for Best Collabo for her track with Nasty C.
Despite not winning the award, she won our hearts once again. Briefly.co.za reported that Boity performed her new track - for the first time ever - on the 2018 SAHHA stage and she killed it.
The crowd was jamming hard - the track is fire. A video of her performance was released and it has taken off like a Boeing.
Moët & Chandon unveiled their very own festive tree, on 29 November, named the Moët & Chandon Golden Tree and it really is a glistening sight to behold. It is here that golden girl Boity shined brighter than a diamond.
This photo just about sums up Boity: Sassy, confident, beautiful, the 'it' girl.
2018 was the year of Boity. We can't wait to see what she brings in 2019!
