A young man gushed about his traditional wedding on Twitter recently and warmed the hearts of thousands in the process.

Segodi Chuene, from Polokwane in Limpopo, posted snaps of the special occasion over the weekend, Briefly.co.za gathered.

He hilariously captioned the first photo as follows: "I paid the price to be the main man."

Segodi used cattle emojis on his post, suggesting that he had paid lobola for his bae during the event.

His wedding had a second day as shown in a second photo he posted. The couple looked radiant in different but equally stunning outfits.

In a third snap Segodi posted on Instagram, he said that the wedding was the happiest day of his life. He also thanked everyone who helped and attended:
