1. The R15 million lotto winner

A lucky pastor won a cool R15 million, a winning that he thanked God for. His identity remained a secret, but it is reported that he would be using his money to give back to those closest to him and to uplift the church.

The pastor also promised to spoil his wife with his winnings. Miraculously, the lucky man spent only R20 on lottery tickets.

2. The R16 million PowerBall winner

A fortunate mother of 3 won this lucky money and went from living in a shack to owning 3 houses. The 47-year-old Capetonian was a regular lottery player.

The mom reportedly also used her money for her children's education.

3. The R57 million jackpot winner

A gogo who has 5 grandchildren won a cushy R57 million in the national lottery. The 63-year-old played lottery for almost 6 years before hitting this awesome jackpot.

She always chose random numbers and only ever won R50, until she got very lucky.

4. The R64 million PowerBall jackpot winner

A very lucky security guard from Cape Town put his millions to good use. Briefly.co.za gathered that the former security guard invested his money, bought shares and policies, and a soccer team.

The lucky father of two also bought a home and a nice Mercedes-Benz.

5. The R145 million PowerBall winner

A 34-year-old engineer from Secunda won a whopping R145 million in the PowerBall lottery. There isn't much information available about the winner, but he reportedly spent an entire weekend indoors before calling the lottery's offices about his winnings.
