Lerato Kganyago shared on social media her experience with a white male who allegedly strangled her after his wife called her helper the k-word. A tweep told her not to blame black men for not helping her, and she fiercely shot back.
Radio personality and DJ, Lerato Kganyago, took to social media to share an incident that happened to her in a Pick n Pay store.
She said a man strangled her in the middle of the store after she confronted his wife for calling her helper the k-word.
According to Lerato, the woman was unprovoked, and she approached her about it. The man came to the 'defence' of his wife and went on to allegedly strangle the DJ.
Lerato opened a case at the Honeydew police station, and asked Pick n Pay for footage of the alleged assault, as reported on earlier by Briefly.co.za.
However, a tweep wasn't impressed, and a debate was started, when this tweep told her she shouldn't blame black men for not helping her.
Lerato didn't approve of this accusation, and quickly bit back at the tweep, as reported on by TimesLIVE:
At what point did I blame black men? At what point did I ask for help from YOU? Stompies from twitter will confuse you. I did what many women do, fight their OWN battles, to AVOID people like you, disappointment. I went into this alone, and I will go out of it alone.
