Some Heads of State are known for travelling with strange items and having weird habits when they're going abroad. Fortunately, South Africa's leader keeps things simple: He travels with his favourite blanket and biltong.

Some presidents have silly requests and habits that they stick to when they travel like their own water, toilets and furniture.

South Africa's president isn't as fussy and only needs his favourite blankie and some biltong when he's travelling around.

According to a report by TimesLIVE, the president doesn't care much for hotel linen and prefers to keep his own blanket with him.

The presidency officials who shared this little bit of information couldn't describe the blanket, but it does exist.

The president doesn't have airs and graces … he never leaves the country without his personal blanket.

Briefly.co.za gathered that President Ramaphosa also always makes sure he has enough bilton and salmon - which he loves for breakfast.

The president is very health conscious so he takes his own things for breakfast.
