Once again, Fikile Mbalula has done it again. He got the Twitter streets buzzing after saying something that not everyone agrees with. Mbalula shared a photo and captioned it in a way that was meant to embarrass Helen Zille, but it didn't go down so well.
Head of Elections, Fikile Mbalula was showing serious shade at Helen Zille in one of his tweets and it may have gotten many giggles, but it also got him some insults in the process.
Mbalula is often the talk of social media town when he says something funny or strange on Twitter, and this was no exception.
Mr "FearFokkol" was probably referring to an incident from earlier this week when there was a loud complaint after security asked a member of the ANC to leave Clifton Beach.
Mbalula likely used Zille's name because she's the Western Cape's Premier.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier that the Western Cape ANC cried foul play after one of its members was told to leave Clifton Beach at sunset.
Dennis Cruywagen condemned the situation, saying it was unacceptable in a democratic country. He said that those who had been around in 1989 will remember how a movement had been launched to campaign to open up beaches which black people had been prohibited from using.
Here's what social media users had to say to Mbalula's tweet:
@JacobZu85287270 - How about a picture of you at your Dubai holiday the public paid for?
@tstrydom - Everytime I think you've reached your low point, you just come with something worse. What a disgrace you are. The ANC supporting and endorsing you speaks volumes. #sies #Hypocrite #anc #Disgraceful
@dmdadcpt - A little too much Johnny Walker blue and Coke, I think. Funny how it's okay for you to throw shade and "funny" photos at others, but when it's against you you toss your toys out of your cot and block people. #Hypocrite
