South Africans on Twitter rally to help mom who lost her job

South Africans on Twitter have rallied to help a young mother who lost her job recently.

The mom, Andiswa Jikijela, revealed her predicament in a reply to another tweet about children's school fees, Briefly.co.za gathered. She wrote:

R1350 a month, she's in Grade R. I have paid her fees for Jan, got most of her stationery and uniform. Ngapha uyaphela umsebenzi ukuphela kwale nyanga. Uwoo! Ndiske ndangudideka.

Before long, Thabiso Mahlape offered to pay for Andiswa's daughter's fees for February.

Andiswa was truly grateful for the kind gesture.

Others offered to pay for subsequent months.
