Former President Jacob Zuma took to Twitter yesterday to share some activities that formed part of his New Year celebrations.
He posted photos and a video of himself riding a quad bike, Briefly.co.za gathered.
The ex-president captioned them, "A relaxing ride to start off 2019. Happy New Year."
In the video, Zuma is seen riding the quad bike past several rondavels at his infamous Nkandla homestead.
In another post, Zuma shared photos of himself with members of a performing group. He wrote:
I had a special visit from the Zulu charmers oMadunusa this afternoon.
Zuma's posts sparked lively discussions among his Twitter followers. Many of them remarked on how relaxed he seems to be in his retirement.
However, others took the opportunity to take potshots at the former president. They were unhappy that his security detail ran as he rode the quad bike.
