Malema hosts AKA and Twitter loses it: 'Juju getting that Megacy membership card'

South Africans were surprised when Kiernan Forbes, who is famously known by his stage name AKA, shared a snap of him and Julius Malema on social media.

It appears Juju and Supa Mega decided to bury the hatchet before entering 2019. On New Year's Eve, the rapper posted a pic of him and the EFF leader and it sparked quite the debate on Twitter.

"Case closed. @Julius_S_Malema Thank You for hosting us and for your kind words. God Bless you and your family in 2019 and beyond," AKA captioned the post.

Over the past couple of years, AKA and Malema took shots at each other on several occasions. Most recently, the DailySun reported Juju wanted to know why the rapper was getting so much air time on the radio.

However, in a tweet that has since been deleted, AKA clapped back at the EFF leader, asking him why he was singled out.

“This is the list of the top played songs on SA RADIO this year. Julius Malema I just want to ask why you specifically singled me out while talking about Payola?”
