On 31 December 2018, AKA joined other celebs at the #FactDurbanRocks event. However, strangely enough his outfit managed to attract attention.

One tweep, who was identified by his Twitter handle @Mdu40928144, accused AKA of not wearing the appropriate attire for the event and added his clothing choice disrespected his fans.

Mdu's tweet prompted a response from Suga Mega, who revealed his outfit cost more than most of us make in a year.

AKA listed the price tag of each of his clothing items and it totalled a whopping R410 000.

Mdu did not leave it there and he continued to criticise AKA's style.

"My point is, the styling was NOT on point. Let's not start the new year on bad style. One can wear expensive clothes, but look cheap. Some of these rich n****s need to give us this money and well show you what to do with it. People I'm an @akaworldwide fan," he responded.

Mdu's comment sparked a fiery clap back from AKA.

"Look at your own avatar. How are you giving me style advice? ... like how fam?!?! ... you’re wearing a tank top from Markhams and tweeting from android," Supa Mega wrote.
