- After Ambitiouz served her with court papers, Fifi had to fight a battle that took a large chunk of her happiness away from her
- It was her son that kept her fighting through, and the love and support from her family and friends
Giving up is not an option. Despite all that Fifi Cooper has been through these last two years, the award-winning rapper has soldiered on.
Fifi has stuck to her passion and made her career in music a success. It was the thought of her precious son that kept her going, according to Times Live.
Ambitiouz Entertainment served Fifi with court papers back in 2017. This stopped her from performing songs that she had recorded with the label before leaving.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the EFF stepped in to help her. It was in July that this issue was finally resolved and Fifi was able to perform her songs again.
This was not easy though. The stress became so much that Fifi had to make a hard decision and send her son to her mother in Mahikeng.
Fifi explained that sending her son away was for the better. The situation with Ambitiouz got so messy that it was no place for a child to be in.
The rapper turned to her late father for strength during the difficult period. She visited his grave many times and it helped her get through it all. Other than this, losing her father was the worst thing she had ever experienced.
With help from the EFF and her loved ones in Mahikeng, Fifi was able to pull through and see the light that shone so brightly at the end of this extremely dark time.
