Bonginkosi Khanyile aided by freedom fighters, march to Union buildings

South African youth embarked on a barefoot march from KZN to the Union buildings from the 18th December. Today they reached their summit.

Briefly.co.za previously reported on Bonginkosi Khanyile who is leading the #HistoricWalk movement on their barefoot march to the Union buildings in Pretoria.

The #FeesMustFall activist was previously arrested and incredibly still graduated.

He and his team have mobilised the youth in their quest to submit their memorandum of grievances to President Cyril Ramaphosa.

Khanyile provided an update via his Twitter account where he confirmed they were receiving the support of freedom fighters.

A former APLA soldier, Kenny Motsamai, joined them as well just as their destination was 5 kilometres away.

The movement confirmed their arrival at the Union buildings on Wednesday morning.
