2018 was particularly a challenging year for Kganyago. Briefly.co.za previously reported the award-winning presenter admitted she struggled to cope with the death of a loved one.
In a Twitter post Kganyago revealed that she had to bury someone very close to her, while also having to look after her mom who has just been admitted to hospital.
However, her troubles did not stop there. In late December 2018, the DJ claimed she was physically assaulted.
According to Kganyago, a white man chocked her and hurled a racial slur at her helper after she confronted his wife for using the k-word.
The radio personality recalled the entire episode on social media and announced she has since opened a criminal case against her alleged attacker.
It is good to see Kganyago staying positive despite all the struggles she faced in 2018.
