Mmusi Maimane, leader of the DA, stated that the party has an immigration plan and part of that involves securing South Africa's borders.
According to Maimane, if the borders are secured, the rights of South Africans will be better protected.
All we're asking for is that we secure our borders so the rights of the citizens are protected....in all communities.

Maimane is hoping that the DA's immigration stance will win them the support of voters ahead of the National Elections, according to a report by eNCA.
The DA leader was in Soweto to launch the party's registration elections poster.
He added that in order for a country to work, there must be rule of law and everybody must be registered.

Maimane is confident about his party's leadership, especially in the Western Cape.
