King Monada fell victim to a fraudster recently and he took to social media to express his anger over the incident.
On Friday, Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux shared a video of King Monada, where he opened up about being scammed out of thousands of rands.
According to the muso, he was booked for a performance and the promoter allegedly sent him proof of payment to confirm the booking.
However, Monada claims once the performance was done his bank account showed the promoter scammed him out of thousands of rands.
Briefly.co.za gathered the promoter allegedly paid King Monada only R26 instead of the promised amount of R26 000.
The video gathered quite the reaction and tweeps felt sorry for the snubbed musician.
M Malachi, who goes by the Twitter handle @MphoMalachi, commented: "I feel sorry for the boy, After Skabora Moreki King Monada should have been a millionaire of note and be touring the globe like its going out of fashion. Malwedhe should have cemented his place, not reestablish him. And without a good Manager one can only go so far."
Another tweep, @thembekanid, added: "His team is really dropping the ball, people around should put measures in places to prevent all this. His focus should only be on producing & performing, somebody else should be focusing on finances & logistics."
