Killer Kau, who shot to fame after he posted a video of himself performing Tholukuthi online, has passed matric.
Imagine becoming an overnight sensation and then having to juggle high school and your new found fame- that's exactly what Killer Kau had to do and he proved all those wrong who believed his fame would get in the way of finishing school.
On Friday, he was amongst thousands of pupils who anxiously awaited to see if they passed matric.
And, according to the DailySun, Killer Kau successfully completed high school, receiving a pass mark in the 2018 matric examinations.
Briefly.co.za gathered DJ Euphonik was amongst many to congratulate Killer Kau on passing matric.
Taking to Twitter, Euphonik wrote: "@killerkau passed matric!!! Let the games begin...AGAIN!!"
The congratulations messages flooded Killer Kau's comment section and South Africans praised him for prioritising school, even though he already achieved success in the music industry.
Twitter user @MbusoM9 commented: "Thank you sir for allowing the boy to finish matric then come back to making music... God bless and congratulations to him."
Another tweep, @CredibleChippa, added: "Wow...thats amazing, I remember sharing the stage with him at Kagiso...I was asking myself how he is balancing the music with Schooling..coz he's a real perfomer that dude yoooh... Energy galore."
