Twitter celebrity Daniel Marven has urged women to work hard for their own money and not to depend on men.
The popular artiste and brand ambassador made the comments in a post yesterday, Briefly.co.za gathered. He wrote:
Dear ladies, please go to school and work hard or just hustle hard and become someone in life... Marriage is not a career and a man is not a financial breakthrough... Don't just bring hips and birth certificate to the table.... Money tastes good when you work for it.

Daniel has a staggering 214,000 followers on Twitter. His tweet, which has racked up 1,100 likes and over 400 retweets so far, sparked a lively debate.
He won plenty of agreement from his fellow gents and even among some ladies.

Many of Daniel's followers applauded him for "speaking sense."
However, some tweeps felt that Daniel's pice of advice equally applies to men.
Others argued that not all women want to work.
