DJ Sbu calls take-backsies on 'racism was created by the media' post

DJ Sbu had to defend himself after a post he made about the media and racism sparked an angry online mob.

DJ Sbu had his foot in his mouth after he accused the media of creating racism in a Twitter post recently.

According to TshisaLIVE, the tweet has since been deleted, but, it read in full:

"We are all ONE. We come from the same mother continent that is ALKEBULAN. Racism was simply created and propagandized by the media."

The DJ immediately received a lot of backlash over his tweet and he deleted it immediately. gathered Sbu then responded to Tumi Sole, who also condemned the tweet, by saying he took back what he said.

According to DJ Sbu, he failed to articulate himself properly.

"I take that back. Did not articulate myself properly Tumi. Islungu singibulele," he said.

Luckily for DJ Sbu, tweeps were very forgiving and they even gave him a pat on the back for admitting he was wrong.

Sphamandla Ntshangase, who goes by the Twitter handle @Mandla_Sobethu, wrote: "Salute & massive Respect to @djsbu it takes a great mind to realize a mistake .. Most people wants just to be right even when they are wrong, big up Sbuda."
