A Nigerian man gushed about being a homeowner for the first time. Excited that he would no longer be paying rent to someone else, @ogunsanyah took to Twitter, posting pictures of his new home.

Buying a home in this economy is no easy feat and investing in property is not an opportunity that presents itself to many people.

Being able to relate to the struggle of paying rent on someone else’s house, users of the social media platform offered their congratulations to the proud homeowner.

While the house has not yet been fully furnished, a Twitter user was quick to point out that Ogunsanyah has already ensured his gaming station has moved in, officially making his new house a home.

Other users also wrote that celebrations were in order, suggesting a house-warming party needs to be organised to welcome him into the house and ensure he has a happy future in it.
