100-year-old man ties the knot with bride aged 96 in special ceremony

Tasnga Seedokbuab and Nang Win tied the knot recently and their wedding was attended by local dignitaries and received media attention.

The Thai couple are neither celebrities nor wealthy but their ages have sparked the global interest.

Seedokbuab became a husband for the 2nd time in his life at the ripe old age of 100.

The 96-year-old Win is no spring chicken either.

Their incredible love story proves that love can conquer everything and defy age.

Seedokbuab and Win met at their nursing home in Ayutthaya, Thailand and this was the venue for their wedding as well.

Win is a widower while Seedokbuab separated from his ex-wife more than 50 years ago.

Briefly.co.za understands that both have adult children from their previous marriages.

Footage shows the elderly couple in their luxurious white silk clothing.

Friends, family and local figureheads attended their traditional Thai wedding.

MSN.com reported this to be the oldest couple to tie the knot according to Bunchai Isaraphisit, the man in charge at their retirement home.
