Apparently all roads do not lead to Rome, they lead to KwaZulu Natal for the annual ANC birthday bash.
Every January, the ANC gets ready to celebrate it birthday. This year marks the ruling party's 107th birthday and the celebrations are going to be lit.
The upcoming weekend would not just consist of business and political talks, and the launch of the ANC's election manifesto- it would also be one of the biggest parties of the year.
Fikile Mbalula told City Press the ANC put together an entertainment line-up, but he is yet to reveal the names of performers.
According to News24, several South African celebs, ranging from slay queens to musicians, would head to Durban to join the festivities.
So, Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at some of the famous names on the entertainment list and the party hot spots in Durban.
1. Taboo Pop Up Club and Rich nightclub
For those who do not wait until the weekend, Taboo Pop Up Club and Rich nightclub would offer entertainment from Thursday night.
The entrance fee is reportedly R150 p/p and features the likes of Busiswa, DJ Tira and Shimza.
2. Azar Night Club
On Friday night, ANC supporters can head down to Azar Night Club for the Gold Party, which would be hosted by Faith Nketsi and Kim Kholiwe.
The entrance fee is also R150 and DJ Chynaman, DJ Feel and Benny Maverick are said to perform.
3. Greyville Racecourse
On Saturday, after the ruling party revealed its manifesto, the Endless Summer afterparty hosted by Somizi kicks off at the Greyville Racecourse.
Prices range from R100 to R350 per person and South Africans could see Kwesta, Busiswa, Shimza, Oskido and DJ Tira, SPHEctacula, Naves, Bongz and PH perform.
