Bonang returns phone she picked up in Sandton, receives gift from owner

Over the weekend, Bonang Matheba picked up a cellphone in a ladies room at Sandton City- so, she set out to find the owner.

Queen B took to social media on Saturday with the hope of finding the owner of a lost phone she picked up in a restroom.

Bonang wrote in the post that she was waiting for the owner to call the cellphone, gathered.

Not long after her original post, Bonang updated her fans, adding she came in contact with the mom whose phone it is.

"Update: Phone finally rang! Yay! Mom called.... I made her day (curtsy) and she will collect the phone on Monday....(she can’t today or tmrw... Already on the road to KZN)" she wrote.

In another post, Queen B revealed the lady came to pick up her cellphone and she even gave her a gift to say thank you for holding onto her cell.

"Update: Mom collected her cellphone & I scored myself a bottle of chaaaaampagne darling! Pow! Gali gali," she captioned a snap of her gift.

Fans praised Bonang for helping the mom get her phone back. However, a lot of her fans freaked over the fact that the woman went from losing her phone to meeting Queen B to get it back.

Pamela_Mtanga, who goes by the Twitter handle @pamela_mtanga, commented: "Imagine losing your phone and Bonang finds it, now you have to meet up with Bonang to get it."
