Twitter grows impatient as cops still hunt for Lerato K's alleged attacker

It has been two weeks since Lerato Kganyago was allegedly strangled in a Pick 'n Pay on Christmas Eve, and the cops are still hunting for her alleged racist attacker.

On Monday, Lerato K took to Twitter to share an update with her followers on the assault case she opened in December.

TshisaLIVE reported her fans wanted to know if the man who allegedly chocked her was apprehend by police.

In the update, Lerato K wrote: "I’ve been mentioning on Twitter that @SAPoliceService has the footage. They working very hard to trace the couple using the evidence they have, and no they can’t release the footage to me or the public. It’s against the law. So till then I have to wait."

Twitter investigators felt the cops were taking way too long, so they offered the celeb their services. However, tweeps would need at least a screenshot of the couple to find the alleged attacker, and they urged Lerato K to 'leak' a photo.

Briefly.co.za reported previously Lerato K claimed a white man chocked her after she and his wife got involved in a heated discussion over a racial slur.

The celeb claimed the woman allegedly hurled the k-word at her domestic worker and she stepped in. She added the woman's husband then allegedly grabbed her by the throat and continued to strangle her.
