A kind woman in Stellenbosch, Western Cape, recently noticed a bookshop cleaner reading a book and decided to buy it for her.
Rita Trafford shared a photo of the cleaner on Instagram, Briefly.co.za gathered. She accompanied it with the caption:
When you are supposed to be dusting but the foodie books whisper other things to you. Snapped this perfect moment, whilst sitting & absorbing the beautiful pages of @lovethekitchen latest creation 'Set a Table', at my local bookshop.

Rita revealed that she just had to buy the book for the cleaner:
How could I not ... secretly purchase the book she was savouring (post dusting) and gift it to her. The wide smile I received and the hug that recipe book got, I will never forget.
Never underestimate the still moments, so much can be observed & they can become magical if you allow them to!
