Rumours of trouble in paradise first surfaced last year after the Sunday Sun reported Mayihlome, the former Home Affairs spokesperson, moved out of their family home.

However, insiders close to the couple said he has since then not moved back into their matrimonial home, nor were the couple able to sort out their issues since last year.

According to a post by Celebgossip.co.za, a source claimed Mayihlome would only visit the home occasionally and he even left his radio presenter wife home alone over the December festivities while he partied it up with friends in the Eastern Cape.

Briefly.co.za learned the insider added it was heartbreaking to see the couple failing to resolve their marital issues.

"It’s sad to watch their marriage crumble like that. We thought they’d be able to work through whatever challenges they’re faced with," the source allegedly added.

Although sources have come forward with details on the couple's marriage, the duo themselves have remained quiet about their problems.

However, the lack of posts about each other on social media accounts might hint that all is not well in their relationship. Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
