Trevor Noah’s rise to success was no easy job, as the South African township boy grew up to become a rising Hollywood star and a much loved worldwide celebrity.
He was born to a black mother of Xhosa descent and a white father of Swiss-German ancestry on 20 February 1984. His mixed-race background was one that was shunned during the Apartheid years.
The star is known to often turn his childhood tales into comedy gold. He often speaks about his parents' forbidden love and what it was like growing up in a racially diverse family in many of his shows.
The world came to know Trevor’s story, not only through his stand-up material, but also through his autobiography, Born a Crime.
Trevor spoke to Forbes Magazine in 2016 about his struggles as a child, saying that that although he grew up poor money never concerned him “because everybody around me was poor, too.”
He said it was only later on in his life when he met people who had a lot more than he did, that he realised the gravity of his situation as a child.
The South African star is famous for being a comedian, writer, producer, political commentator, actor and television host.
Briefly.co.za: reported a few days ago, that Trevor Noah, one of South Africa's most popular comedians has reached great heights.
His show on American TV, The Daily Show, does very well and he's always travelling around doing comedy shows. Naturally with his success came lots of moola, and it shows. His home, or what we believe to be his home, in flashy Los Angeles looks stunning.
Social media users recently got a peek at Trevor's home and they were left impressed with its value and beauty.
