Earlier this week, reports surfaced about a woman who was stripped and forced to clean while her lover's wife filmed the humiliating scenario.
Briefly.co.za refrained from reporting about the video because we felt it was degrading and directly violated the woman's basic human right.
While many argued the woman should not have cheated with the lady's husband, others felt the cheating spouse should have been held accountable as well.
One woman, who was simply identified by her Twitter handle @Xipopana_, took to the social media handle and offered legal assistance to the humiliated woman pro bono.
Like @Xipopana_, many South Africans were outraged over the treatment of the woman.
Social media user @kanyejackson5 wrote: "Indeed, it is really upsetting. Even cold blooded killers are not humiliated the way this lady was. Infidelity is not a crime, but the distribution of someone’s images for the sole purpose of dehumanizing someone is a crime. I will be happy when justice is served."
Another tweep, @Lora_Labarb, added: "She has done good!! It's embarrassing enough for her to wash the blankets outside, naked but for the wife to take a video and upload it just made her look like a coward that she is. That she can't put a leash on her husband and ca him to order. It's time she faces the music."
