- The rapper was involved in an accident during a live Instagram stream
- Fans were left worried after the shocking video went viral
- Nomuzi Mabena has yet to release a statement
Social media went crazy last night when rapper Nomuzi ‘Moozlie’ Mabena got into an accident during a live Instagram stream. Friends and family took to social media to voice their disbelief and worry, as the star posted nothing after the shocking video.
In the video, Mabena is seen sitting in a car and talking about her record label, Nomuzi Mabena music. Thereafter, a loud crash is followed by a shattered windscreen.
Fellow rapper and close friend Rouge posted the video of the incident on her Twitter page voicing her concern and fear. The two rappers were celebrating Mabena’s 26th birthday just 3 months ago, as reported by Briefly.co.za.
Some have speculated that the incident was just a publicity stunt in partnership with the Department of Transport to raise awareness about the dangers of using mobile devices while driving.
Meanwhile, controversial author Jackie Phamotse was flamed by social media users for releasing a video about the incident. In the now deleted video, a very tearful Phamotse pleads with the public for any information regarding Mabena’s well being. Many called her video fake, and accused her of seeking attention.
Mabena has not yet released a statement at the time of publishing. This is a developing story.
