Zola Hashatsi, South African celeb known for his work as actor and producer, has finally, and proudly, embraced his calling as sangoma. He admitted he should have answered his calling years ago but didn't understand it.

Zola Hashatsi announced recently that years after being called to be a healer, he has finally accepted and embraced the road he must follow.

The Daily Sun reported that Zola said it all began shortly after the death of his mother in 2009.

I think after my great-grandmother died in 2009, she became my ancestor and was always protecting me from evil things. I should have listened to the call in 2009, but I did not understand it...

Zola feels his life has come full circle after he turned 30 in 2018, according to a report by ZAlebs.

I started embracing it more and more. I was honestly not surprised... I still believe in the Lord but I am a child of the soil.

Zola joins another celeb, Boity Thulo, as famous people who are also sangomas.

Briefly.co.za reported that Boity confirmed that she is a sangoma and that she puts her calling as a sangoma first and her media persona comes second.
