Man shares interesting story of 100% black-owned Vosloorus tuck shop

A man in Johannesburg took a trip down memory lane and shared a photo of an old tuck shop that has survived the test of time.
Writing on Twitter, Nkanyiso Ngqungula said the tuck is located in Vosloorus, Ekurhuleni. He explained:
This is a tuck shop 100% black-owned that was started in the early 90s by a man 'Mabaso.' I know this shop because my grandfather use to buy there in the 90s before he died. It is still operating till today based in Vosloorus Nguni Hostel...

The white- and blue-coloured tuck shop appeared rundown. It is a reminder of the slow pace of economic transformation in South Africa.
This is the point Nkanyiso appeared to be making. Briefly.co.za learned that he describes himself as a Marxist-Leninist-theoretician.
He's also student activist currently pursuing a BCom Law degree. He's into Fanonism, dialectical materialism, and black consciousness.

A Twitter user suggested that the tuck shop should be renovated given its rundown state.
