Hoërskool Waterkloof learners received an unexpected and exciting surprise when their principal made a grand appearance on the first day of school.
The Klofies, as the students at Hoërskool Waterkloof are known, braced themselves for the first day back to school – for many, the holidays ended too soon.
However, their new principal, Chris Denysschen, was determined to make it a day to remember.
The headmaster gave pupils the impression that the sky really is the limit as he flew into the school grounds via skydive.
The school rugby stadium was packed with excited learners and cheerleaders welcomed Denysschen as he landed.
The dramatic skydive was accompanied by the James Bond theme song in the background.
Jacaranda FM reported on the festivities as the school celebrated 40 years of excellence.
Briefly.co.za gathered that based on the comments, those on social media loved Denysschen’s antics as much as the learners in attendance.
