The crowd had gone wild when former president Jacob Zuma arrived at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Kwa-Zulu Natal this Saturday for the ANC Election Manifesto Launch. The ex-president took to social media to thank his loyal followers
The reaction Jacob Zuma had enjoyed from ANC supporters had far overshadowed the one President Cyril Ramaphosa had recieved. This illustrated the well-know fact that KZN was still very loyal to the former president.
The ex-president took to social media platform Twitter to thank his supporters as well as those who had remained loyal during his court appearances.
On Sunday, Zuma had posted a video recognizing those who had been loyal through the good times as well as the bad.
"I thought I should thank my supporters. Thank you for the support you have shown to me over a long period and in the recent past. Support when I go to appear in court, it has been tremendous."
“Thank you very much for that support, it means a lot to me. I know you’re always with me and I’m always with you. Also the support you give to the social media, it is absolutely amazing and indeed humbling. Thank you very much indeed,”
The ex-president had gone on to thank those who had shown him love during his campaigning which led up to the manifesto launch at the stadium.
“Also the support you show me when I campaign as well as the support you showed me at the Moses Mabhida Stadium rally when the ANC was launching its manifesto.”
The contrast in the support for Ramaphosa and Zuma was hard not to notice, with many people taking to social media to point it out, posting videos to support their theory.
