10-year-old Oratilwe Phiri upstaged even the ANC at their manifesto launch on Saturday, impressing South Africa with his incredible skills.
The young biker from West Rand stunned the large crowds gathered outside Moses Mabhida Stadium who were thoroughly impressed by his fearlessness and confidence, Briefly.co.za found
Oratilwe is passionate about motorbikes and loves Motocross and Superbike riding and racing is in his blood. Ora has already won three major championships each year since 2015 and is clearly destined for great things in the industry.
Oratilwe’s father taught him to ride when he was only five years old. His brother, Amohelang, is now five years and is following his big brother’s footsteps and even won his first championship last year. Ora is proud of his little brother and calls him a champion.
Biking is a good way for Ora and Amohelang to bond and they shared the experience of riding in the opening of the 3rd annual South African Bike Festival at the Kyalami race track.
It was also during this race that his talents were noticed and how was invited to stun audiences at the ANC’s 107th manifesto launch in Durban.
The boy has big dreams and hopes to one day ride in the Redbull Rookies Cup in Spain, so watch the space.
In the near future, Ora is growing up and moving on to his first adult bike, which will be the CDR 150, the Sowetan reported.
He said he was excited about the year ahead because he would be moving onto riding motorbikes for adults and his first adult model will be the CDR 150.
