Murder-accused Pitch Black Afro's mother showed up to support him in court

Pitch Black Afro stands accused of the murder of his wife Catherine Modisane. He appeared in court for his bail application, and his mother showed up at the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court to show her son some moral support.

Thulani Ngcobo, better known by his stage name Pitch Black Afro, appeared in the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court on the 15th of January for his bail application.

However, the application was delayed and postponed until the 18th of January.

Thulani's mother - who wanted to remain unnamed - was at the court to show her son support during his appearance.

He stands accused of the murder after his wife, Catherine ‘Trisha’ Modusane, was found dead on the 31st of December.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Catherine was found with bruises covering her body.

A report by TimesLIVE indicated that Thulani's mother is having a hard time dealing with the events.

I am still very confused and hurt by everything but I will surrender everything to God.

If Thulani is granted bail he will be staying with an aunt.
