A man took to social media recently to share how his aunt swiped his inheritance after she received custody of him.
Having to lose both your parents must be devastating, but, getting to live with a family member is much better than being placed with strangers you do not know. However, even family does not always have one's best interest at heart.
A man, who was identified by his Twitter handle as Kuthso, shared how his aunt used his inheritance to benefit herself, leaving him nothing.
"I was 15 when my parents died,so my Aunt became the Guardian, she really fought hard to be my main guardian, little did i know she is doing it to takeover the inheritance my parents left me with. She renovated her house.Bought Taxi's and took her 2 kids to expensive schools," he wrote in a post.
Briefly.co.za gathered Khutso added she even sold his father's car without his knowledge. He said his aunt only bought him a phone and clothes one December and since then she never cared for him.
However, you know what they say about karma? Khutso explained both his cousins failed matric, all his aunt's taxis were set on fire and she passed away after that.
Khutso added his life has been tough ever since, and although they got what they deserved, his aunt left everything to her kids, including a massive home she renovated with his inheritance money.
