- Cassper Nyovest was once a name that nobody even knew
- In 10 years, Cassper has gone from begging for gigs to filling up stadiums
- The man deserves a round of applause for his hustle
In spirit of the 10 year throwback frenzy, Cassper Nyovest took me time to reflect on his growth. The man has made some real strides.
We sometimes forget that celebrities were not always famous. There was a time when Cassper had to wait outside the club for someone to help him get in, but now the man is filling stadiums.
Refiloe Maele Phoolo, better known as Cassper Nyovest, was born 16 December 1990, and became one of South Africa's most adored, admired and popular musicians in mere few years after his break into the industry.
It was the late HHP that noticed Cassper and gave him the break he deserved and needed.
Briefly.co.za saw the post Cassper made about how far he has come in the past 10 years. From where he was in 2008, to where he is now, the man deserves a round of applause.
In the post Cassper makes reference to the time where he was ‘begging Jr’ to give him a shot, just a small foot in the door, a time where no one knew who he was or how great he would become.
From begging for gigs to owning a label, filling stadiums, managing artists, owning a lit mansion, and so much more, Cassper has a journey worthy of being proud of.
