Online debate gets heated: Zuma mustn’t think we forgot he’s a thief

Twitter user, Man’s Not Barry Roux (@AdvBarryRoux), shared a damning tweet stating: “Jacob Zuma must not think we forgot that he is a thief.”

The short tweet proved powerful as it attracted nearly 3 000 likes and close to 300 comments.

Many South Africans agreed with his sentiments as numerous tweeps re-iterated the allegations.

Zuma supporters came under fire as well for their unwavering support of the former President.

However, the Zuma camp weren’t taking it lying down and fired shots of their own.

Some shifted the focus to EFF leader, Julius Malema and his alleged corruption.

Briefly.co.za gathered there were still some who kept their cool and saw the funny side of the heated debate.

Many were just pleased to have the controversial twitter user back following a temporary suspension.
