Local comedian, Tumi Morake, is celebrating a well-deserved win. Her name is on the list of comedians that appear in a Netflix comedy special. She features in the series and was the first South African woman to do so.

Tumi Morake made us proud when she became the first South African woman to feature in a Netflix series.

She is making history by being the first African female to have a slot on Netflix, as reported on by Briefly.co.za.

The special is called Comedians of The World and takes stand-up comedy global as it features a diverse group of comics from 13 regions around the world.
