Local celeb Skolopad works as a nurse at night and recently had an awkward encounter with a patient who claimed to be allergic to black people. The socialite did not want to report the incident but shared her feelings on social media.
Skolopad, a well-known and beloved socialite, recently shared her run-in with racism at the Free State hospital where she works at night.
According to her, she was with a patient who didn't have an appointment when she asked the woman if she had any allergies.
The woman went on to say 'black people', and the patient's child laughed at the remark.
Skolopad said she remained calm and did her work, despite the incident upsetting her.
Her fans were very upset and hoped that she reported the incident. Briefly.co.za gathered that Skolopad did report the matter to the sister in charge.
However, she is not eager to take the matter further because she doesn't want to be called a liar.
We salute Skolopad for remaining graceful and still helping the patient despite their alleged rude manners.
You go, girl!
