Karate at church? Alleged fight between churchgoers caught on video

Church should be a place where people gather to praise God and learn more about His word. However, an unidentified congregation turned a sermon into a WWE Smackdown match.

A video was recently posted on social media which showed members of a congregation allegedly getting into a physical fight with each other.

Briefly.co.za has not gathered information on where the incident took place or what sparked the fight.

The video was widely circulated on social media, with Christo Thurston being one of the people who shared the video.

"Ngeke Bazalwane! Ngeke!" he captioned the video.

The video shocked social media users, who could not believe a fight broke out at a church.

Katlego Party Pila, who goes by the Twitter handle @RealPartyTheDj, commented: "It breaks my heart to see this happening. I used to attend this church growing up and that's where my love for musical instruments evolved, especially Bass Guitar. But since I started seeing these churches from a business point of view I stopped attending and that was in 2012."
Another tweep, @InvisionClinton, added: "Church is where people hide their true colours."

While a lot of tweeps found the footage appalling, some thought it was rather entertaining.
