A man came across photos of another man when perusing his girlfriend’s mobile phone.

She had been saving his photos and sending it to her female friends.

The man was immediately consumed by jealousy and assumed the 2 were having an affair.

He did some investigation and identified the crush as Phuti Ramoroka.

The jealous bae, who we will refer to as Eric, confronted Ramoroka via the Whatsapp instant messenger platform and warned him to stay away from his girlfriend, Nandi.

A bemused Ramoroka explains that he knows nothing about the situation.

Eric refuses to listen to reason and threatens Ramoroka.

Ramoroka takes exception to this and warns Eric that he is biting off more than he can chew.

Eventually, the 2 men agree that Ramoroka would block Nandi from his Facebook account.

Just as the dust had settled and Ramoroka asks Eric to delete his number, another twist ensues as Eric asks Ramoroka to buy him a R12 airtime voucher.

Ramoroka is clearly in disbelief and responds: “Lord why me?”

Incredibly, he succumbs and purchases the airtime.

The whole conversation was shared via Twitter by user, @miss_andisa, to hilarious effect.

South Africans couldn’t believe themselves and the viral post received nearly 2 000 comments.

Briefly.co.za noted that many couldn’t hide their disdain for Eric’s actions.

However, the vast majority just found it very comical.

Tshepo Mamabolo revealed he knew Phuti’s family and jokingly said he would share the viral post with them.
